Japanese telecommunications company KDDI has begun testing an early warning system in El Salvador designed to enhance emergency response to natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods.

The pilot project integrates advanced alert technology with local communication networks to ensure faster dissemination of warnings.

Officials say the initiative could become a model for other countries in the region facing similar risks.
