Honduras Deploys Additional Military Forces to Border to Block Organized Crime Fleeing El Salvador

The government of Honduras has dispatched extra military and police units along its western border with El Salvador, implementing strict biometric screening and intelligence sharing. The operation is designed to stop members of transnational gangs from escaping the ongoing Salvadoran security crackdown and relocating into Honduran territory.
