El Salvador’s security forces and Justice Ministry say the country has gone 190 days this year without a homicide, bringing the total number of homicide-free days under President Nayib Bukele’s administration to more than 1,200 and reinforcing the government’s security strategy as a central part of its economic and tourism agenda.
