The government of El Salvador and international logistics operator Yilport Holdings have begun the next phase of a maritime infrastructure upgrade at the Port of Acajutla, a project designed to double cargo capacity and establish the Salvadoran coast as a primary logistics hub for Central American and Asian trade routes.
