El Salvador Extends Cooking Gas Subsidy for More Than One Million Households

The Directorate General of Energy, Hydrocarbons and Mines will continue providing an $8 subsidy on standard 25-pound liquefied petroleum gas cylinders throughout July 2026 to help shield households and small businesses from volatile international energy prices.
